Finland

The Finns are known to be easy-going, following the motto “live and let live”. For international students, there is almost no place more peaceful than Finland. The safest countries for international students: Overview

Which countries are safe to study in? The table below shows the rank for each European country as they are assessed in the Global Peace Index 2022 (GPI 2022). The GPI looks at various statistics like crime rates, political stability or the involvement of a country in armed conflicts. A lower score means a higher level of safety. As a reference, we also included the United States in the table:
